My psychopathic pot plantationist tenant who shot at my so got arrested for driving under the influence when he crashed his truck the night before Thanksgiving. He got extra bonus points by refusing the breathalyzer test.

Popping popcorn.

Watch it, Fly! This is an advanced topic. No one understands her. America has overused "bitch" so much, it has lost it's verve. Karma could care less.

My friends are roasting me regarding the "Beowulf - the Karma Suitsya" thread. They said to me, "It's Beowulf's karma that caused her grief no matter what the source. Even if a freak earthquake did it."

They're correct, of course. But that's way too advanced of a concept to impart in that thread. Still, karma could care less.

Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense

This is an everlasting story, of fly's marijuana growing and shotgun shooting tenants.
As a multiple landlord myself I do sympathize, but wonder about how various countries handle such.
Our supposedly socialist state has quite defined laws about how tenants and landlords rights intersect. As a landlord we can terminate a lease at any time with due cause, and also terminate it without any cause when there is two months left on a fixed term lease.
We were actually annoyed when an agent (on our behalf) gave a tenant only two weeks notice to leave on a late rent technicality, and only advised us after the fact. OK, she wasn't a great tenant but did have a couple of good kids at the local school. The agent was subsequently sacked, the house sold and a newer one bought. Excellent tenant in the newer house.

I do remember when a single older female friend rented a house out in the country, without documentation to avoid tax etc. The tenants decided that as there was no record there was no need to pay rent. Being a country house the water was by a pressure pump on a bore and the electricity was from a separate source. I was busy dismantling the plumbing connections on the pressure pump under the house, while she was undoing the fusible links on the power, when I heard her shout "It would be a pity if there was a fire at three in the morning". They moved out.

Your second paragraph describes my tenants. As they were retiring and caring for her father and caring for her centenarian, World War 2 when they bank foreclosed on their mortgage, I was stupid enough to offer them an extremely charitable lease. Upon belated investigation, it turns out that they had defrauded their banker to get a NINJA loan with zero equity to purchase their previous home then took out a home improvement loan to purchase frivolous things.

The arraignment was yesterday and they requested diversion. Ordinarily, one can not enter a diversion program if they refuse breath, blood or urine tests. A hearing is scheduled for January. They also get an automatic one year license suspension for refusing the tests even if they are quite. Their request for diversion required a plea of guilty port no contest, so they can not plead innocent if they are denied diversion.
