Try it from my side with so much going on so far apart! "Oh, bother!" said Pooh, as Piglet came back from the dead. |

I’m pretty amazed that only blatant example that comes to mind after 25 books is when everyone forgot who was in the same room with them 5 pages earlier in Cauldron. |

This is simply a slip of a snip. Or a snip of a slip, depending on whether you're the reader or the writer. I take full responsibilty for the confusion, considering that my logic was incomplete. Though I shan't take responsibility for the slip of a snip instead of the quip of a snippet -- homage owed completely to the author. Nor shall I take responsibility for the lack of appreciation for a slip, a snip or its bigger brother the snippet.
Do note, that slips are not all bad. ISTR evidence that one slip of a snippet encompassed an entire book. That's good -- again, depending on whether you are the reader or the writer. This slip of a snip encompassed a single paragraph. We must learn to take the good with the bad. Isn't it just like men, always concerned with size? It doesn't matter what the size of the snippet is, but the size of the emotional content. A paragraph may yield nothing of consequence. Whereas the most glorious of a snippet can yield manna and comprise all of just eight wonderful words... "Honor and Nimitz and Eloise and Beth lives" ... would be a glorious snippet, very shy of a paragraph or several. But pregnant with content. As pregnant as Abigail Hearns would be if I could ever hyper into her system, decelerate slowly, and make a zero-zero intercept with her womb. Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense |

I'm not sure if it's Melville or New London. |

<snipping the quotes>
Naw, I was being subtle. There was a US Navy submarine named USS Cachalot (SS-170). |
