Wanted POV. Anyone capable of broadcasting Paul Van Scheldt's face (Shadow of Saganami) back to Dresden when Helga Boltitz introduces a few of her friends and their relations.
"Hi, I'd like you to meet my boyfriend's command officer, 5th in line to the Crown, and her cousin Elizabeth. My friend Helen Zilwicki and her sister, the Queen of Torch. Their former shipmate, Abigail Hearns of the Grayson Hearns... The Zilwicki's sorta mom-in-law Cathy M. [who might just happen to have more money as pocket change than your whole collective oligarchy has in the banks!]" They collectively ask, "Oh, and who is this?" "Nobody worth knowing. Goes by the name of and is a real [fill in the blank epithet]." ---------------------

Sharkhunter, I'll have you know, I've spent a few rereads on this post! Funnnnnnnie! I can so see it happening. And delivered flawlessly, by none other than the very capable Helga Boltitz, who you just know was biding her time to stick it to Van Scheldt. With her boyfriend, best seat in the house, grinning like a Cheshire cat - having so thoroughly trained her in her more regal social graces. Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense |

Just finished re-reading "Unbroken" and Zamperini's "Devil at My Heels" (both excellent by the way)
Would like to see the point of view of an RMN senior enisted or junior officer taken POW early in the first war, released (possible with Terekov) and his / her recovery during the inter-war period. -- Stewart |

I love to see the talk between Aivars and Ginger when she talks about her first deployment.

If "Le Snootier" is not the actual name of the restaurant, it'll do just fine. It needs to be a really snooty restaurant. But real snoot is a function of birth, not design. A really snooty restaurant wouldn't have snoot on the marquis, but in the distinct positioning of the pinky finger, with drawling, holier-than-thou syllables uttering from their faces like Houseman. You have to supply Helga with the proper backdrop, staging. After all, she is not simply name dropping. She's title dropping. Big difference. Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense |

POV of the guerilla tactics of cats. Cats are so intelligent that their collective hunting skills must be as elaborate as Harrington's tactics.
There must have been some elaborate flanking maneuvers. Likewise, wolves have mastered the hunt, designate, and flank. Treecat Generals? Son, your mother says I have to hang you. I'm thinking, the Governor's Ball. With the Baroness escorted by the Admiral, of course, lest a certain UK female think we are neglecting the romance of the decade whilst escorting Van Schedlt into permanent social ruin. ---------------------
