Now-- and we're getting it in the Talbott series, Helen Zilwicki.
Eventually.... Paulo d'Arezzo. He's one generation away from Honor, but has worked with a whole lot of her proteges, and is close to Helen Zilwicki, who -- though she doesn't claim to have any inside info -- would certainly have an interesting perspective. Those two are different enough that 'next gen', I think they would be a pretty fun dynamic duo to write for. ---------------------
All my posts are YMMV, IMHO, and welcoming polite discussion, extension, and rebuttal. This is the HonorVerse, after all |

I'd like the POV of Edmond Marchant, when it finally sank in - after he completed his own bodily inventory and found all his limbs still attached - that it was the woman he labelled a whore, a harlot and a sinner that ultimately saved his BACON!
Wholeass! Edit: Before his death, of course. Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense |

Were we ever graced in textev with the POV of Shannon, (and Tourville - I think), when news of Honor's survival hit?
Did Honor ever find out the measure of deceit a few Havenites chanced to cover her escape to Hades? There are lots of postwar conversations around a fireplace, featuring Brandy and Old Tillman, that are bound to happen at some point. Many a POV's a fly on the wall could report. Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. The POV of Estelle when she found out Honor and Fearless had survived the Battle of Yeltsin, though it was most likely just tears and two words.
Tears thank God Tears thank God Tears tears running tears... Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense |

It depends on you definition, we do have their actions in In Enemy Hands and they both knew she was alive but as for when they officially were told that she was alive I do not believe that exists. |

I always go for the Bad guys with the flawed logic. Firebrand or the guys who don't want to be a statistic on the next Honor casualty list or whatnot.

Actually, I don't think they did know that she had survived, just that some one had, and had destroyed all evidence of the escape on their way out the door - but they didn't KNOW that Honor was one of the escapees. ========================

I want Justin Zyr's POV as he first encounters and then tutors a resident of Mount Royal Palace only to discover that his student has an ulterior motive. And I'd also like to encounter Elizabeth's POV of the same events.
