Don't you mean "inquisitors put under greener pastures"... :D

Been skimming throught his thread. I thnk Thirsk is in a bad spot and trying to make the best he can of it, even though he has started to have serious doubts about his country and his religion. What I am hoping for is that at some point in time Thirsk will have the opportunity to tell his superiors exactly what he thinks of them and the crap job they have done of fighting the war. Would it not be awesome to see him bitch out the lordling above him, whose name escapes me at the moment, and the Inquisition?

Hi Cdieter20,

Welcome to the forums, enjoy your favorite simulated beverage on the simulated forum. ;)

I believe you mean the Duke of Malakai, the Dohlaran navy minister.

that would be fun, wouldn't it?

A minor nit, Lyonheart... the Duke of Thorast.

Perhaps Merlin can swing in through the stern windows and discuss his situation with him? In full dress uniform, of course.

Actually I think he would take any peace deal that ensured that his head remained on his shoulders

Hi Turol,

Unfortunately for him, Cayleb and the ICN want his head.

His body is optional, I believe.

So if he's lucky, it'll wind up in the royal crypt. :D

I think if Hector goes to sea again, he may well be most useful in the capacity of flag lieutenant to Admiral Yarley who will surely get a bump in rank and command of a large task force.

I suspect that Rahnyld probably would keep his head if not his crown were he to agree to take Dohlar out of the war. After all, Gorjah and Nahrman weren't very well loved either. Cayleb and company are really not particularly vindictive with defeated foes, knowing as they do that the real enemy is the Temple.
