Some questions:

- How many boilers and what type of boilers have the KH?

- Does the traverse bulkhead connect to barbettes?

- Are the barbettes go to the armoured deck?

- Does the main guns reloaded on the zero train, or the loading machinery rotate with guns?

- How many battlemasts she have?
------------------------------

Oh well, if shortening the front is what the Germans crave,
Let's shorten it to very end - the length of Fuhrer's grave.

Don't have a count on boilers, but they're relatively high pressure water tube boilers (I'm in Vancouver, and my design notes are on the home computer in South Carolina).

Barbettes go to the armored deck.

Main guns are reloaded at any angle of train.

She has a single military mast, forward, immediatetly abaft the bridge structure.

Didn't see this post unti8l after I'd already seen and commented on the art, which is really cool.

Hm, is this really need? It would greatly increase the diameter and the weight of barbettes... And frankly, it didn't really make much differences for this situation.

I actually found my copy of Jutland up in the attic last week - purchased new around 1971 as I recall ....

It just occurred to me that King Harald would actually destroy Dreadnought quite easily. All that would be necessary would be for Merlin to fly the skimmer near KH and extend the stealth field a bit,

Dreadnought gunnery officer to Captain, I canna hit what I canna see, lol.

Since KH is faster Dreadnought couldn't escape either.

You did say hypothetical?

Or the USS NCC-1701 "Enterprise" could see recon skimmer from the far side of Safehold system, and just beam Merlin directly in the heavy protected storage compartment. ;)

What? It's hypotetical; the "Star Trek" technology is almos as superior to the Terran Federation, as the Terran Federation to the 1900th Earth!
