“Well, this is an interestin’ development,” Rear Admiral Michael Oversteegen drawled.

Michelle Henke restrained an urge to hit him over the head. It was difficult.

Do you want to know why part of me wants Michael and Michelle together?

This is why.

Well I can't disagree that they also have much in common and any lambda code designed to pick compatibles would be junk if it didn't churn these two names as output, as a high percentage match.

And it would probably be more likely than Michelle and Lester.

Though Michelle and Lester I think would be more "The Bold And The Beautiful." :D

Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense

"Be further advised that if you do not immediately cease your attempt to close with my ships or flee the system rather than accept my government's requirements and standing down, I will demonstrate that capability to you in a fashion which not even you can ignore. Gold Peak, clear."

Michael and Michelle is those two kids that start with pulling pigtails and chasing each other on the playground until the day when they look at each other and go "Wait... oh. Oh my." And then they continue to bicker but now the bickering leads to the bedroom. :D

Michelle and Lester are more Romeo and Juliet - falling in love with someone entirely unlikely, someone who should still be off limits, in a marriage that turns out to matter quite a bit to more than just the two people involved. It's love in unlikely places that helps heal two separate nations.

And I can't decide which one I like more... gah!

Ok I admit I was already in love with her before then...but that moment did require a call to a florist...an expensive one in Landing!

Hmmm, I got a few of them, I was surprised not to see here.

"This is baseball, My Lady" LaFollet - WoH, why Baseball doesn't use the metric system.

"You've always been a teacher" - Rafe to Honor, AAC

"Then don't you think they ought to be, well, demanding it? - Rafe to Honor ART

"That's because you're a talkative soul" Honor to Rafe ART

Quite a lot of the dialog between Honor and Rafe is both humorous and from the heart. Rafe always seems to be about it (sorry, couldn't resist), perhaps because he has been her right hand in so many roles.

Nice picks!

Actually I kind of look on Rafe as a kind of adopted kid of sorts to Honor. Their banter was so lovely. If ever Honor molded someone then Rafe's middle name is clay.

A couple more (there are so many good ones):

"I suppose by now we should all be accustomed to what passes for your sense of humor" - Andrea to Honor WoH

"Would you like your snorkel mask, as well?" Mac to Honor, AAC

Her reply, "I don't think it's going to get quite that deep."

"For some reason, neither Andrea nor Her Grace thought that was a wonderful idea" - Mercedes to Truman commenting on her idea of choosing targets for cutworm, by drawing names out of a hat. AAC

"Why is everyone always telling me I'm an incompetent liar" Honor to Rabenstrange ART
