According to Eric Flint's website, the sequel is done (Called tentatively the "Macedonian Hazard", but not yet scheduled for publication.

Yeah, Baen bought it earlier this year. The manuscript was turned in at the same time. No confirmed publication date yet, but the likelihood is late 2020 or early 2021. David |

The Era of the Diadochi is a common name for the era in ancient history. Diadochi is a Greek word that meaning "successors." That was a time after Alexander's passing that lasted around fifty years in all and made the world portrayed in George R.R. Martin's SONG OF ICE AND FIRE trilogy seem quite tame.

There is one big difference. The Diadochi didn't have or need an immense wall to keep out a dreaded menace (yes, the Romans were coming, but nobody knew about them until they bounced Pyrrhus and that didn't take place until after the end of the Diadochi wars) ----------------------------
