Has anyone seen the new Starfire miniatures? They're pricey, but they look good...

Wondered what the various ships looked like and how big physically they were. Is anybody going to make finished painted "to scale" models of perhaps everything? Be quite a few ships for sure.

Having a collection of Human, Cat, Gorn, Bird, Bat, Teddie, Weird AND Bug starships would be very cool. I could pretend I was 10 years old again and hang them all from the bedroom ceiling.

Well, the designer is using art from the various game books and scenario packs, we're pretty excited about the minis. I've resigned myself to dropping nearly $200 at the site in a few weeks...

Also, the designer is working on having the ships 'to-scale' with each other.

Greets from the new guy!

I've loved SF for a long time, my absolute favorite series (I haven't gotten into the 2 new ones though) and I just wanted to boop in and ask: Am I the only one that thought the ships illustrated on the newer releases of the novels were far more awesome than the games original concepts? Please don't kill me..

Cheers!

Not at all, Skipper. The art for the books has always been more fantastic than the minis. You should have seen how funky the original minis were. The new sculpts are based on the art from the various rulebooks.
