Jasper not Casper.

Ahrmahk is a corruption of Sarmac as explained in canon. Sarmac is apparently a Filipino family name in origin from what I googled.

I also have been vexed by possible pronunciations

As for Ahrmahk... There text evidence on that
Norman Bates (another turned phrase) has studied the files on the Stone of Shuler but I can't remember the spelling or which chapter of which book..
