https://www.uscis.gov/humanitarian/refu ... m/refugeesRefugees are actually required to present themselves to a US consulate overseas for vetting and approval before entering the US. If approved as refugees they will actually get travel assistance.
May be you foreigners should become cognizant of US law prior to expressing your opinion in such an arrogant, insulting manner?
And maybe before you accuse others of arrogance and insult for calling yourattention to matters of reality you should do your homework first?
Like, for example, reading the UN Protocol on the treatment of refugees... to which the US is a signatory making it a binding part of US law according to the US Constitution, which states:
Article 31
Refugees unlawfully in the country of refugee
1. The Contracting States shall not impose penalties, on account of their illegal entry or presence, on refugees who, coming directly from a territory where their life or freedom was threatened in the sense of article 1, enter or are present in their territory without authorization, provided they present
themselves without delay to the authorities and show good cause for their illegal entry or presence.
2. The Contracting States shall not apply to the movements of such refugees restrictions other than those which are necessary and such restrictions shall only be applied until their status in the country is regularized or they obtain admission into another country. The Contracting States shall allow such refugees a reasonable period and all the necessary facilities to obtain admission into another country.
The reason for that being rather freaking obvious, people fleeing for their safety do not always have the time, resources, or ability to present themselves in an orderly fashion at a recognized checkpoint or border crossing.
So as I was saying.... they don't need freaking Visas. They just need to present themselves as refugees to the first border patrol or other officials they encounter after crossing the border.
