If you were unsure about picking up Governor (I was, the snippets didn't sell me on it) then it is currently less then £5 on amazon uk for the ebook.

have to say despite my doubts, this was solid werber goodness.

Definitely solid Weber.

Hopefully they will fix the error in the calculation of Goibniu Alpha's spin section in the next edition. :ugeek:

A mistake? ... finds passage ... looks up formula ... should be a “slow, majestic rotation every forty seconds or so” , not ninety. I wonder how they made the mistake? I tried several ideas (misunderstanding of what angular velocity is, diameter vs radius confusion) but I couldn't match their wrong number.
