IIRC, when Hexapuma returned from it's first (and sadly last mission), she was hosted by the entire Home Fleet with the Manty anthem blaring on all comm channels.

What are the words to the anthem?

Does it end in: "God save the Queen?" If so, has that been changed to "God save the Empress?"

Did Fearless(I) get the same song and dance after 1st Basilisk?

Would be curious to know the words. But I can confirm that Fearless got the same routine:
And then, at last, there had been the voyage home, accompanied by an honor guard of an entire superdreadnought battle squadron while the Manticoran anthem played over every Navy transmitter in the system. Honor had thought her heart would burst when D'Orville's stupendous King Roger flashed her running lights in the formal salute to a fleet flagship as Fearless entered the terminus to transit home

Someday that whole scene is going to happen with a Havenite ship (and the Havenite anthem) and I am going to bawl.

While I was finding my copy of OBS, I see SWM answered your question about Fearless. I did take a look at the scenes of Hexapuma arriving in Shadows of Saganami and Storm from the Shadows. And I can't find the anthem being played for Hexapuma the way it was for Fearless.

Now that it's been pointed out that Manticore needs an anthem, I think it is a given that sooner or later someone will provide one or more in the realworld.
After all, the Discworld's city-state of Ankh-Mopork got a national anthem which was them performed at the Proms (by a fat lady wrapped in a white bedsheet, just as tradition demanded).

I can't write anywhere near as well as Weber

Well, if nothing else, we should get one for The Movie.

And though I cheerfully admit that I've no idea what Manticore's anthem should sound like, Haven's bears a suspicious resemblance to the Russian national anthem. All political considerations aside, it's stately, proud, and patriotic - and Haven deserves no less.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw this thread. Maybe something like the old Soviet Union anthem (I caught part of Rocky IV this weekend and now it's in my head) or even the newer version (like what I heard during the Olympics). Considering that parts of Havenite culture resemble (to me at least) that of the Soviet Union/Russia it would be appropriate.

I'll ask my friends in the filking community whether someone has already written one. There are several Honorverse filks out there.

The only Honorverse filks I've ever heard of are "Fair Was the Blossom", "Riding a Tiger", and "No Quarter", but it would be really cool if someone had written one!!
