You like the rules...
The rules are very nice...
I don't know how to react to that...

You can't *really* say you're surprised by that reaction from him, can you?

I expected the liking of the rules. They are a good way of describing how a minority of Internet users think (or don't, as the case may be) and are amusing.

It's the nice that I have no clue how to react to.

May I also offer for consideration a list of things that every fringe group has in common and a rather amusing piece on Internet Tough Guys.

Remember, kill them with kindness! If you have nothing good to say, be nice and cordial.

Why is it that a restriction on the FBI investigation at the height of the recent controversial hearing not considered obstruction of justice?

That requires obstruction of a criminal inquiry I believe, not a background check.

If they had allowed a proper check to occur of course it might have *led* to a criminal inquiry... which is why they didn't allow things to get that far by blocking a proper investigation.

And when smr says you're starting to sound like a conspiracy theorist, you know it's time to take a step back.

Actually, it's the closest smr gets to admitting that gc is probably correct.

Sigh.

Fact: They limited the investigation. Wray testified to this before the Senate. They weren't allowed to talk to the majority of witnesses, they didn't interview the accused or the accusers... it was a joke.

If you care to list any reason for severely restricting the FBI from being permitted to looking into a criminal complaint against a nominee that isn't "because they don't want them to find anything on that nominee" go ahead and tell us what it is.

You could be right! Gcomeau, try fishing or some other recreation choice, activity, or hobby that will allow a person to decompress from the social/digital media world. Go out and have a beer with friends and shut off the notifications on the phone. At times in the past, Trump has been labeled a pedophile, a rapist, Nazis, a fascist, or many other appellations by your posts on the forum. How can a person take the viewpoint that espoused by yourself about Trump without a grain of salt (more like a whole pool of salt!)?
