Since you apparently won't accept news from any other source...

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/06 ... -test.html

" With five months until Election Day, Democrats hold the enthusiasm advantage -- and that puts them ahead of Republicans in the congressional vote as well.

A Fox News poll released Thursday finds 48 percent of voters favor the Democratic candidate in their congressional district and 39 percent the Republican. That 9-point lead is up from a 5-point edge the Democrats held in March (46-41 percent)."

But yeah, nice cartoon I guess? I mean, if it makes you feel better since you have nothing else to contribute here like... oh... facts.

It's like trying to debate with a pre programmed response generator... facts and data just bounce off, nothing is allowed to intrude on the narrative...

I do not understand why Trumpettes claim the "tax cuts" as "winning". 90+% of the benefit goes to corporations that will not "trickle down" the benefits, but use them in stock buybacks and other tactics to feather their already luxurious nests. The burden of paying for this will hang around the taxpayers' necks for generations to come.

The CBO estimates that the tax cuts will lead to record debt levels. Levels not seen since WW2.

How the hell can that be considered "Winning"?

And in response, as *everyone* predicted while the GOP was denying it up and down, this year the GOP is pushing slashing medicare and social security to the poor and middle class because they "have to" to reduce the deficit they exploded with their tax cuts for the rich.

And that is how you steal the wealth of a nation for the ultra rich, in a few simple steps.

Meanwhile, smr sheers... and unless I'm wrong and he's actually a hedge fund manager or fortune 500 CEO or something he's cheering his own robbery.

Rather than struggle with the inbedded quotes system gcomeau, I thought I'd remark on an old experience of mine. I haven't been in any political party for years (as I find it easier to piss into all tents that way), but decades ago I was in our Labor Party (Democratic equivalent), and used to hand out how to vote cards at elections.
Probably 90% of people were polite and either took them or said "No thanks", however some were rude and abusive calling us communists or socialists. Of those, about half were dried up old codgers, and half were tattooed young labouring or welfare types. Those who the conservatives screwed each time they got power. Simple people respond to simple three word slogans, and don't look into things.
