China throws a half BILLION dollars at a development project in Indonesia that is going to put money directly into Trump's pocket.

Days later Trump orders the US government to help out a Chinese telecom that is supposed to be under sanction for dealing with Iran, and which HIS OWN top counterintelligence officials say is a threat to US national security.

I want to hear more from the Trump supporters about how it's totally no problem that Trump didn't divest his business interests because what's wrong with the President making some money right? That is what we were told right here on this board when he took office.

I also want to hear more about how it was the single worst thing in the entire history of planet earth that there was a non profit charity foundation with the Clinton's name on it that was getting donations from people while she was Sec State.... even though none of those donations went to her... because somehow in some way they can never actually explain the details of that is OMG PAY TO PLAY!!!!!

It's become pretty obvious US policy is now up for grabs to whoever can pay/kiss Trump's ass well enough.

And in the meantime, while Trump orders a Chinese threat to national security propped up and helped out... there is an increasing probability the US will be levying sanctions against actual allies in support of Trump's Iran deal temper tantrum.

The Trump administration... gutting the foundations of american international diplomatic strength at every opportunity.

Putin sure got his money's worth out of that election interference campaign I'll say that for him.

Well Trump just disclosed a personal financial liability to Cohen for the Stormy Daniels payment now that he can't pretend it doesn't exist anymore.

A liability he lied about not having on his forms last year... which is a crime. The Office of Government Ethics has already sent a referral to the Justice Department over the matter.

Now let's all watch the GOP Congress and the DOJ do absolutely nothing about it, and the Trump supporters not care as long as it's their guy committing real actual crimes and not a Democrat committing imaginary ones.

And before we hear any "oh he just overlooked/forgot it" BS... a blast from the past from last year's filings:

https://www.usnews.com/news/politics/ar ... disclosure

They tried to talk OGE last year into letting Trump submit his disclosures WITHOUT certifying they were true. Guess why they would do that? There's pretty much exactly one plausible reason.

Actually there's two.

One is criminal coverup, the other is when you know the guy who is supposed to be filling them out is so incompetant that he's going to screw something up.

Number 2 only applies if anyone on earth thinks Trump's lawyers allowed Trump to fill the disclosures out himself, or that Trump would even be capable of sitting down and concentrating on something long enough to do that.

They just had him sign his name. And I'm betting they left the Stormy payoff disclosure out over their own objections when he threw a tantrum about being told they were putting it in there last year.

You just made 4 posts in threads... all 4 cartoons with no accompanying actual argument.

Just given up completely on trying to argue any actual point?

To understand this, you need to understand smr. Or rather, understand something he doesn't. smr is, consistently, using in-group arguments and talking points in an out-group situation. Calling people critical of Trump "delusional", reposting these cartoons, these are all things that would work in getting him acclaim and support... if he was talking to a group composed entirely of people who already agree with him. These things are "in-group"; they are shibboleths that mark him as being part of something and that get applauded inside that group, but are utterly nonsensical outside of it. When us "deluded liberals" are talking about how Trump lies constantly and provide proof that he does, that's an out-group argument: It's based on a common reality, there is documentation and references that can be verified and agreed upon; that his only recourse in these situations is to blatantly and willfully misread what the arguments are tells us all we need to know about him. He is not interested in debate, he certainly isn't interested in reconciliation, all he wants to do is performative virtue signalling to show his group that he is faithful now and ever.

TL;DR: smr is a dishonest person who is firmly outside the reach of reasoned discourse; his emotional investment in his own correctness is so deep that to back out and admit fault in even the smallest of ways (such as, for example, conceding that he has misread a statement) is anathema to him.
