As an outsider I was browsing the Washington Post article on Trump's recent Tweets, and it struck me that this is a frog boiling slowly situation. Surely even Trump didn't post such vindictive and inaccurate rubbish in the early days? I tried to visualise Obama or Bush doing such, and it just didn't compute.
How anyone could hold respect for someone who acts that way is beyond me.

Its the bubble. They (Trump and his rabiddest supporters) all live in the same info bubble. Its like the echo chamber. Again Il est un de nous "Thats how we talk about women and liberals and the MSM when we're sitting around the fire pit having a few brewskis."

Possibly the clearest possible illustration. Apparently Fox News absolutely will not book Stormy Daniels lawyer for an appearance on the network.

Conservatives can rant about the "left wing media" all they want but I guarantee if a porn star had surfaced with an NDA saying she was to keep her mouth shut about an affair president Obama had with her right after one of his daughters was born MSNBC would have had her lawyer on the air THAT DAY. Because credible document supported allegations of "president cheats with porn star" are news period.

But Fox isn't in the news business, they're in the propaganda business. They're in the make sure Trump supporters are insulated from negative information about him business.

And don't take my word for it....

Trump's lead attorney John Dowd just resigned...

So that makes the moves this past week on his legal defense an exchange of a merely incompetent lawyer for a tv personality lawyer who loves conspiracy theories that Trump *obviously* hired for no better reason than that he kept seeing him on Fox News saying things he liked.

Yeah, I'm sure that will work out well for him. I bet Mueller or any judge they go in front of will be captivated by rambling expositions on how the entire Justice Department is framing Trump for... ummm... reasons.

Trump surrounds himself with yes-men. Anyone who contradicts him, argues with him or tells him something he doesn't want to hear is out.

I have worked for people like that. They sow the seeds of their own failure.

Truly newsworthy. Apparently there is just so much even one of his yes men can go along with.

Resigns.

According to reports, he likes a wide variety of viewpoints but makes up his own mind on issues.

Which is why he has fired people for disagreeing with him and replacing them with people who thinks like he does.
