So what does everyone think of the cover for the book?
I like it myself.

Link is to the Amazon order page for the book. It's the only image I could find of the cover.

I like it, too. The ships look right to me, at least. My only possible quibble would be with Honor's rank insignia. I tried to compare it with the one in House of Steel, but frankly my eyesight is so bad I can't make out the details in the HoS illustration even with a magnifying glass.

She does look a tad pissed on that cover. Also, it looks like the planet in the background has a glowing mushroom cloud just above the title.

The pissed look seems to come from a bloated, that-time-of-the-month, look which is appropriate for what's coming. She is such a beautiful model for Honor. Wish I knew her identity.

I simply adore the white beret.

The look is probably meant to be more resolute.

I'm glad I'm not on the receiving end of that look ;)
also it will look better when it's in my hands, while I'm reading it!

It reminds me of the same look I see in my mind, every time I read the most powerful one-liner ever to come out of the series. IMO. It is certainly my favorite. I hope I do it justice, from ingrained memory...

"So we meet again, Admiral Tourville," she said. And her soprano voice was cold.

Sends chills down my phucking spine every time.

It looks like the same look. And I wonder if the Salamander will outdo my favorite one-liner.

That's not Honor Harrington looking at you. It is the look of a Salamander, bloated from her pregnant butcher bill.

She looks like she's pregnant with twins -- later aborting the Mandarins and the League.

If anyone is interested, Weber Universal Outfifters is taking pre-orders for signed copies of Uncompromising Honor.

Weber Universal Outfitters has a long standing relationship with David Weber going back a number of years and has other things of interest as well.

More expensive than Amazon, especially for postage to Australia, but the signature is worth it
