I don't know about you, but I've always rather enjoyed the "messy bits"! ;)

"When I was your age"? This leads to the question of just how old you think I am? I could pass for someone with 1st gen Prolong, perhaps, but not 2nd or 3rd!

I could pass for Rajani Rajampent (pre pulser eating). Not figuring you for any age particularly, just younger than me.

OK, you got me there- but still, you're only as young as you feel!

I fel like Rajampent after the pulse dart incident. The wife says I'm as bad as a 3yo. I say nonsense, I have way more experience at this than any 3yo could ever hope to have. Been working to best the fall rains laying down the first course of 60# (27+kg, 4+stone) retaining wall blocks. After a day of digging roks and laying block-taking time to level them ot, I get exhausted.

On a somewhat different note, I have been thinking about Albrecht. I wonder if pushing the button was really neccessary. Perhaps he could have just laid low for a while and gotten himself and his people out by waiting until Mike's fleet relaxed a bit and allowed regular shipping to resume and then shipped out as passengers on regular commercial liners.

He might have had to wait a few weeks, But there was really nothing to distinguish him or his people from everyone else. There would have been nothing to suspect had they showed up at the space port and played tourist.

To misquote Benjamin Franklin, three can keep a secret if all three are dead. He felt the deniability was essential. And felt it so strongly he was willing to die to ensure it.
