That's why I like the premise in the Eridani Edict Violation of the most Dismissive Kind thread. The MAlign doesn't kill innocent civilians under the guise of "collateral damage."

Not meaning to be presumptuous regarding the upcoming "collateral damage," that is.

Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense

I'd like to see the accomplice that still lives regarding the sabotage of the school dome to have his hide turned into pig jerky.

I'd leak to see the leak regarding Harrington's pregnancy plugged -- with a .45 round from the hip is fine by me.

But that's just my split personality speaking.

That's what Arthur Conan Doyle thought when he killed off Sherlock Holmes the first time. Wrong!

Would be an interesting physics experiment. Can a woman's scream of rage circumnavigate the globe?

There really, really isn't.

I could see a dual attack on Torch, combing realspace
and wormhole. KEW strikes and near total casualties.
Then a quick escape through the wormhole.

You don't need to go through the WH. Just go into hyper and poof.

They've been there done that. We've had attacks on Manticore and Torch. Why repeat? Also, Manpower was never really important to the inner core. Why bother going after Torch when that would bring them to everyone's attention?

There probably will be one horror story but it could be Beowulf or even that other planet mentioned in the snippets. After that, I think most losses will be from the Sollies.

I don't think the young characters will die. They would make great captains for the next arc. There might be one important death and it would probably be someone older.

Who will die & how.

Trecats by a tailored bioweapon from the
MAlignment.

I realy really do NOT want this to happen, yet it fits
their abilities and modus operandi.

Bioweapons against Treecats is difficult!

If I remember correct. the Mesans try to get some Treecats, but the Rangers stop them every time. So, the Mesans don´t have Treecat DNA for an really deadly Bioweapon. The only thing that would work would be the big Hammer! A Bioweapon with a big bandwide, a planet killer.
