How about one concept I came up with whilst trying out my brother's new calculator? (Yes, it shows you how long ago it was).

A Solar powered calculator with a luminescent screen so that you could read it in the dark.

I had one of those. Fortunately, it included a small battery.

Quite often a case of the factory only making or buying one type of screen, but yeah they sound dumb.

Almost only counts in Horseshoes and Nuclear Weapons. I almost got the Hand-Grenade out the window does not count.

Hmmm...well not entirely, if positioned a bit further forward, they would add additional weight to the muzzle end of the gun to reduce (slightly) barrel rise from recoil. So they can have some (small) practical use during rapid fire. They might also act as a flexible forward grip if held, I know ... ewww. right?!

It ranks up there (almost) with the totally useless "Truck nuts" for tastelessness.
****

Just my opinion of course and probably not worth the paper it's not written on.

"One size fits all" rubber gloves!

Newsflash! They don't! I hate going through an entire box of "one size fits all" rubber gloves trying to keep one pair from tearing. Which leaves my hands feeling like a Japanese woman's bound feet.

Reminds me of my teenage years of the one size fits all rubber gloves below the belt. Newsflash! They don't! Which made me have to frequent dirty, seedy, stinky newsstand peepshows near campus because they were the only ones selling "large" size prophylactics.

One size fits all what? Dwarves?

Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense
