Fairs fair, we have a thread for things he's done right. So we should have one for what he's done wrong.
#Trumpcare. Because he doesn't. Hell, arguably unconstitutional. (In parts) Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Hasn't been passed yet so we don't know how wrong the passed package actually is. If the mandates are eliminated and the penalties paid to the insurance companies are jettisoned, might not be bad at all. |

He disrespected every single female in America and refused to apologize.
Son, your mother says I have to hang you. Personally I don't think this is a capital offense. But if I don't hang you, she's gonna hang me and frankly, I'm not the one in trouble. —cthia's father. Incident in ? Axiom of Common Sense |

You realize the mandates are the only way the rest of it gets paid for right? How exactly is a "fix" that slashes the revenue stream but promises to keep providing all the same services that revenue was paying for supposed to work? (If you figure it out, make sure to call up the GOP in Congress and tell them... because they don't have a fucking clue) And before you tell me this is about different POVs... |

How much storage does this site have?
He's been gutting environmental protections, starting with allowing coal companies to once again dump their runoff right into streams of fresh water. He sprang a surprise immigration executive order on the nation with little review and no regard for constitutionality. In fact, he fired the one member of his staff that had the courage to warn him about the problems. He's had a Cabinet appointee resign to dodge scandal, another who perjured himself in a Congressional hearing, and got a "no thanks" from a professional soldier who called the job a "shit sandwich". Despite his constant talk of secure borders, he's cutting the Coast Guard's budget, which will allow people to sail around his precious wall. He's making policy based on conspiracy theories and spin-doctored Fox new snippets, like the phony Swedish "national security expert". He's obsessed with stuff like his deficit in the popular vote and inauguration attendees, because he can't stand to come in second on anything. He also held a campaign rally after the campaign was over, just to bask his ego in adulation. He held a sensitive national security discussion in the open at Mar A Lago, in front of salad-eating dinner guests with no need to know. (How many foreign governments have invested $200,000 per head in Mar A Lago memberships for the field operatives?) Someone else take a turn, please. |

How about this: He instituted a federal hiring ban to save money, yet has already caused expenditures in excess of 30 million USD just for his weekend trips to Florida and having his wife live in NYC.

That will cause either a collapse of the law (which apart from everything else isn't politcally feasable or else the GOP would have already repealed it) or a collapse of the health insurance companies followed by collapse of the US health system. That might actually happen anyway if the mandate is replaced with the penalty, given that the latter functionally disincentivises people who've dropped insurance from getting new insurance. The bill has had the rather impressive achievement of being hated by almost everyone (the Democrats for obvious reasons, the freedom caucus legislators don't like it, a number of GOP senators have said they wouldn't back it, the insurance companies don't like it, etc.) Although I'm not sure you can pin this on Trump since AFAIK he hasn't had anything to do with the bill. |

Causing a complete collapse of the US health system might be a good thing in the long run. Sur it will kill an awful lot of people but it really does need some fundamental changes.
One of Pres. Trump's first acts, possibly the first, was to lesson the ethical overwatch of his government. Because honest governments do that. Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The President of the United States just got trademarks approved to slap his name on, among other things, Escort Services in China. Take a moment to imagine the reaction from the right if we swapped Obama for Trump in that bit of news. Remember all those memes flying around social media about Trump "bringing class back to the White House" after the election? Yeah, me too... (And has there been any agreement reached for a quid pro quo on this approval, which Trump had been trying to get for quite some time? We'll never be able to fucking tell because his un-divested business ties make it impossible to detect.) |

Apparently due to the Trump administration being too incompetent to even staff the positions (because you know, nobody needs "big government" bureaucrats anyway) Mexico has been unable to even find anyone to discuss an extension of sugar import licence restrictions with in the Commerce Department.
So... they just suspended all sugar exports to the United States because their approved quota up until the end of the month has been hit. (Mexico supplies over 30% of US sugar. Guess how much US food related industry relies on an uninterrupted sugar supply...) http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-m ... SKBN16E0OZ |
