Baen's showing Mughal Mission as an April 2017 publication. Any idea when earc will be available?
Amazon's showing Volga rules for January 2017 publication. When can we really expect his one?

Last info [see here: http://bar.baen.com/index.php?t=tree&th=128095&start=0&] is that Volga Rules is waiting for a slot in the schedule - and will be the first 1637: book to be published. At that point Toni would have at least penciled in the schedule to next September, but wouldn't necessarily have told Ursus that it was in, so it might be as early as July [unlikely, IMV] or as late as January 2018. Not likely to be later than that; my own feeling is that it will be in the neighbourhood of 11 or 12 months from now.

Just finished the Mughal mission earc. I'm going to have to re-read the book.
I was confused by the similarities in names, which probably not helped by the calcification of my once nimble brain.
One other problem is my incredible ignorance of history on the Indian sub-continent. My prior knowledge was pretty much limited to "the Brits played one group off against the other to get control."
You might want to have a map of India handy when you're reading the book. Western countries, at least the US, don't spend a lot of time on Indian history or geography. Would enjoy hearing from some of our EU members on that point.

1637 The Volga Rules is up for pre-order at Amazon with a Feb 2018 delivery date. I think it's the real thing this time, because they have cover art up.

They released it in stages but it’s out. I enjoyed it though.
