Also, most of what you are posting is FAR beyond the one liners that this thread was made for.
There is that. And you know, I tried to keep this thread near and dear to one-liners. Honest I did. But, I was getting
pressure from the people. Many people were saying how difficult it was to keep posts to one line, because most one-liners need
contextual support. So, as my original post now reflects, I edited to allow more leeway.
I like this thread crewdude. I really do. It reminds me of my father when I was a snotty too...a snotty-nosed little kid, when dad always had to have his morning coffee and the morning reading of the
Beetle Bailey comic strip. I didn't understand it then, but I do now. Also reflected in my edited original post. One side effect of my loving this thread is that I can honestly say I have read every single post. Because I have read every single post, I remembered where I got the most '
pressure from the people.' I remembered who was mainly responsible for applying pressure which led to my
lifting the ban on just one-line. That pressure came from, well...crewdude48 on Feb. 5, 3:43 a.m. Rose was giving me a hard time about her little darlings. You suggested we share...
Mom!
Rose doesn't want to share!
In the spirit of 'Why can't I be the patient?
Not my Governor and her Admiral, I don't! They're my darlings!

If you two don't start sharing, I will take them BOTH away, and nobody will get either.
Um...sorry. parenting seems to be a habit.
In other news, I really don't get see one liners from Mr. Weber's works. Most of the best need context to support them. He just doesn't tend to write lines like Firefly's "I swear by my pretty floral bonnet I will end you."
In other words, when crewdude48 applied the final pressure which led to the lifting of the ban on the one-liners thread, the ban was also lifted for...lil ol' me.
That old saying comes to mind. Be careful what you wish err post for, you may get it.
