Natalie Dormer (GoT, Elementary) might do well as either Cordelia Ransom or Aldona Anisimovna.

And for some reason only my half-conscious, semi-delirious mind might fathom (I was sick), it tried to insist Jim Parsons would be good for the dual roles of Oversteegen and (with some makeup tweaks to differentiate them a bit) High Ridge. Gotta love fever dreams. :roll:

I have to admit, my brain wants to cast Tom Hiddleston as Michael Oversteegen.

I make no comment as to whether this has anything to do with a) my feelings for Michael Oversteegen or b) my feelings for Tom Hiddleston. :D

Yes, I know, he's not an actor, but. Jason Isringhausen, at least recently, really hit my mental picture of Alistair McKeon. Has anyone seen him do the Cardinals postgame stuff to tell if he's any good with TV? I heard he was doing something for them but since I live out of area I missed it.

Scratch the actor playing honor. The animators will have fits and kittens when they try to bring Nimitz to live. Especially with the proportions given in some cover art, I still can't figure out how to allow for tree-climbing, centauroid posture, 6-legged stride and "elegant flowing" movement. So when there is no scene in the film with nimitz climbing a tree, now you'll know why ;-)

Personally I have always thought "Jessica Biel" would make a great Honor. she has an athletic beauty that just screams "I can kick your ass!"

While I take your point (though I think much less highly of Jessica Biel's acting skills), even the notion of casting a white actress in an Asian role would cause enough backlash to take out a superdreadnought.

There's a reason all of our choices have been non-white, after all.

I don't much care for Jessica Beil's acting, either. I think there's a lot better choices, including *gasp* Angelina Jolie.

Did you see RFCs post at the bottom of p56 in this thread? I don't think there's anything to worry about.

Besides, even if there hadn't been any of the issues he mentioned, AJ is just plain too old, too expensive, and not too good of an actress to play Honor.
