They were available at my local library in Colorado as video cassettes and DVDs so they may well be available in Canadian libraries.

Unfortunately they are not available on the local version of Netflix, although I do now recall that he started in them.

I've seen some of them, but they were so long ago that they dont really count. They were probably the last time Sean Bean survived long enough to mention.

Sean Bean is too old to play Merlin.

More importantly, he's too short (5'10 1/2") Merlin is over 6" which is why I thought Benedict Cumberbatch who it is seems is only 2" taller (6' 1/2") would be a better fit, not to mention that his physique reminds me much more of Merlin.

I've always seen John Rhys-Davies in my mind's eye whenever Clyntahn was on the scene

If only Tim Curry was not so old... his role as Cardinal Richelieu in "The Three Musketeers" was simply outstanding.. I could easily see him playing Clyntahn.. or perhaps an old Chihiro

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0396558/ Nicholas Hoult

Seems like a good fit for Merlin.

Marcia Gay Harden as Queen Mother Alahnah.

Also seconding Lily James as Irys (a fairytale princess if ever there was one). As for the rest, sadly, I haven't a clue (yet).
