Naval Action - Age of Sails - coming game

It's called Naval Action and so far it looks promising: You can see some of the gameplay on youtube. I thought it might pique the interest for some of the people frequenting this forum. --- Jack of all trades and destructive tinkerer. Anyone who have simple solutions for complex problems is a fool.

There is coming game with tall ships battles. It's called Naval Action and so far it looks promising:

You can see some of the gameplay on youtube.

I thought it might pique the interest for some of the people frequenting this forum.

I hate to tell you but there are numerous Age of Sail games out already. Not as finely detailed as yours but out there none the less

Board Game or Table top
Wooden Ship and Iron Men by Avalon Hill computer and board game. the game can also be played as a table top with miniatures (recommend GHQ)

I know there are a lot of other games out there focused on tall ships. This was just a blurb for a new game.

I know some people prefer the turn based variant (which encompasses both board games and computer ditto) and some people are more into the real time strategy variant, but this is the first multi player "first person" ship "simulator" that I know of.

Don't forget "Broadsides and Boarding Parties". Love that one. Big plastic model ships that come apart to represent damage ftw.

And I do have all the Age of Sail games on CD-ROM. 8-)

Actually, there was one from 1967ish called Trafalgar, which was fairly detailed. I no longer have my copy - I sold it on ebay 15 years ago or so.
