I post my work as TheBeardedOne ;)

Oh? Currently reading your "Harry Tano", pretty good.

"The Quiet Fox" is probably good as well, but the format didn´t suit me so i only got around to reading parts of it.

This would be a great short story to add to the next Worlds of Weber with exactly this title. I'm sure that the legions of Weber fans who aren't on the forum would enjoy it as much as we have.

[quote="runsforcelery"]I promise I wasn't really smoking any prohibited substances when this came to me. But, I thought, what the heck, if Heinlein could do it, so can I.

I wonder if it's fanfic when the author does it?

That is the best, most totally awe inspiring fanfic I have ever had the pleasure to laugh through. And I think I caught every reference the first time through, and as big an RAH fan as I am, I had to go back through his a few times to catch them all! Thanks RFC.

I've said it before, but RFC has got to put this in the next book of short stories with exactly this title so all of those who love his books but aren't on the forum get to read it too!

In my view, this thread rates a "Sticky"

I know I have said it before, but it is really entertaining and fun. Thanks again RFC.

Mr Weber

You are a strange -- very strange -- person !!

And I hope you continue in the same vein for many many years !!

Thank you sir, for entertaining and educating so many of us and making us laugh !!

Congratulations on being one of the really good ones.

OK, I better stop now lest you get a swelled head. . .

I actually read this ages ago, but just recently de-lurked, so I really have to say it now: I LOVED IT!

Keep up the good work RFC, great storytellers are scarce nowadays, and I´ve been a bookaholic since I was five.

Cheers!
