:? Are the City-class coastal ironclads Domnyk Staynair thinks about in Snippet 8 the Eraystors or yet another class the Charisians are building? :?

The first City-class is Eraystor, which means that a lot of people --- heck most people --- are going to label them in terms of the lead ship of the class. They're called the "Cities" for the same reason the Delthak and Delthak II classes are called the "Rivers;" they've established that the nomenclature will be drawn from the names of rivers and/or cities. Properly speaking, there is no such thing as a Delthak II class because there's no ship named Delthak II, but that didn't prevent various Charisians from thinking of them that way, and I did that deliberately because people do things like that. ;)

That's really helpful, thanks. :D And, yes, it sounds like just the kind of thing people would do.

And, no, I haven’t given you the details on either the Delthak II or Eraystor designs.

However over on page 2 of the 'HFQ Official Snippet #8' thread, JMBM has re-posted details of the Delthak II design allegedly posted by yourself last year. (I only spotted that this morning)

Oops? ;)
