Birmo's latest effort, shortly to be followed by "Without America" What happens when a mysterious dome of energy turn most of Canada, all of the Continental US (except part ofr Washington State) and a good part of the Carribbean, almost to Gitmo into a no-go zone, and every primate that enters the Zone into a puddle or organic goo?

How would the world mangage---without America?

Good read if you like alternate history

I very much enjoyed the novel Without Warning.

IIRC, the sequel will be titled After America, and will be published in August of 2010.

A duck? A shrubbery? A large wooden badger?

I give up.

Regarding the second guess, Saintonge, are you one of the "Knights of Ni"? After all, they wanted a shrubbery.

As for the book, it sounds interesting, but there's currently no sign of it in the shops on my side of the pond.

Awaiting comments.

No, I'm a minstrel. "Brave, brave, brave Sir Robin. He run away, he chickened out . . . "
