Spacekiwi,

Just occured to me, why would an animal with razor sharp claws on six limbs and the muscle to use them, need to use puppy eyes? Woun't popping the claws be a bit more ...... effective?

(and yes I just posting to increase my rank  )

Honorverse art show, with specific ship rendering and treecat sub-shows. (Maybe we could get to see all the remnant work from the aborted game?)

Lego ship-building contest. Maybe one "on-the-spot", and one for folks to being prepared models.

A reading by David, perahps of a selection of HIS favorite passages from the entire series.

Portraits of the Sharon & kids - in appropriate Manticoran and Grayson garb. (C'mon - I'll bet Mattingly could be convinced to cgi this.)

Prayer breakfast. Could you find a lay pastor to lead this?

Panel of Weber collaborators - on working with David Weber.

Dragon Naturally Speaking participation demo. "Can YOU get those Safehold names to come out right?"

Honorverse trivia contest.

Late night hot chocolate clatch.

"Eric Flint's View of the Honorverse" presentation. David not allowed.

Basic treecat signing lesson(s).

Moot Parliment - all parties represented by fans in the respective party roles - debating ratification of the Haven treaty, re-building priorities, and other issues. Position index cards provided.

enough for now,

Dreamrider -

You're hired! Thank you for all the great ideas...I had already started on a couple of them and you gave me really great directions with the rest!

Much appreciated!

Mange, <Seawolf509, keep Posting you'll get there, but after 1000 you are as high as you go. As to showing claws in a threat gesture two-legs frown at such behavior. You could get banned from Greenville. Hum, Chief, new song idea, "Banned from Greenville," to the tune of 'Banned from Argo.' Here's a YouTube version:>

Question on the Officer Membership. What does "personalized photo ID Badge" mean? Can we request a rank and specific ship and or Navy?

Bought my registration today. Now to figure out how to get to Greenville from Montreal... Looks like there's either the option of a nonstop flight from Montreal to Charlotte and then take a land hop, or a whole bunch of two-flight options from Montreal to Greenville...

Probably easier to do the two-flight method. I hate connecting flights.

Gena,

You ought to be able to do some kind of event that plays on the topic that will never die, Who Should Play Honor?
You're going to have one of the producers there, and that !@#$ topic is over 45 pages long on THIS forum, in its latest form. Longer and older over on Baen.

Maybe have attendees drop suggestions in a big jar, and get the producer and David to draw and respond (tonge in cheek would be fine) to 10 or so of them during a forum.

Maybe have a jar for Honor, and a jar for "other"?

All of the above is off the cuff and not very creative. You could probably think of something better.

dreamrider

PS - it would be REALLY great if there was a contest element that involved 2 free passes to the opening...just saying.
