Mexico's gun-control laws are a leftist's wet dream. Consequently, there is NO gun violence in Mexico, right? Right?

Columbia, Guatemala, hell, most of those Central American shitholes have 'strong gun control laws' that are REALLY WORKING to prevent violence! Those leftists sure must be proud of how well they're doing!

I'm too tired to deal with more of the exact same stupid that has been addressed countless times on these forums...

Maybe I'll come back and explain the difference between an isolated incident and a systematic problem... or the difference between stable first world nations and countries overrun by drug cartels and rampant corruption tomorrow.

Actually, a lot of the 'Mexican franchise' gangs in the US are smuggling guns IN from Mexico, because it's so easy to get full-auto AK47s there. The Russians and Cubans spent decades passing them out like candy.

Yes, gun control does work*, thank you for noticing. Note how this is an extraordinary incident in France (and, for that matter, in Europe as a whole): Something like that incident happening in the US would very likely not make national, let alone international news.

Also note how the firearm in question was "merely" an automatic pistol, and that it was the only firearm the shooter had. Nothing like the kind of attacks that are happening pretty regularly in the US, where shooters attack people with pistols, rifles, shotguns....


* Assuming a generally stable country that is not suffering from severe economic hardships

Being a good citizen I assume you inform the authorities who go arrest said illegal importers?

Assuming that said guns are easier to get in leftist dream regulation Mexico than they are in gun nut heaven USA.
But then if that were the case there wouldn't be the mass smuggling of guns from the USA INTO Mexico.

But if that were the case there would be reports of busts etc.
Or for that matter, there wouldn't be a problem with the bloody things being smuggled into Canada from the USA.

Or for that matter, ICE's own page covering it's own actions with regard to gun smuggling, only mentions smuggling of guns FROM the United States.

Does the occasional crim sneak over the border with a weapon they already own, probably.
Is it anything more than a drop in a lake compared to what gets smuggled into Mexico? That's a contention that you will have to provide some evidence for.
