Ha, I think before that happened we would just see the North/west states peel off and form some kind of close working relationship with Canada as the US fractures down the middle, and the old confederacy would celebrate until they realize those damn liberal blue states were the ones that made up the VAST bulk of the US economy and were keeping their own state budgets above water with federal transfers of their tax revenue that are now no longer available.
