So to be clear everyone.... Trump loses the popular vote by 3 million votes and wins the electoral college by 77 electors and he has a landslide mandate!!!!

Obama wins the popular vote over McCain by 10 million and the electoral college by 192 electors.... "McCain almost won thanks to Palin!"

His "I'm suspending my campaign" BS in response to the mortgage meltdown revealed the elder statesman to be a doddering old fool. Obama won by default.

He suspended it for two days. From September 24th to September 26th.

On September 23rd he was behind Obama in polling by an average of 4 pts already and widening rapidly because voters tend to not be thrilled with the idea of voting for the party who just imploded the entire national economy on their watch. The campaign suspension was a desperation gimmick from someone who already knew he was toast.

Palin's subsequent demise was the result of being of only modest, middle class means.

Her subsequent demise was because she was a freaking ignorant moron.

Which, pathetically, is what makes your idea that Trump would replace Pence with her both one of the dumbest ideas I've ever heard and sadly plausible as something Trump would do.[/quote]

Actually, it was Obama among other liberal poverty pimps who imploded the economy by extorting NINJA loans from the banks. Bush had the misfortune of being the President who wasaccussed of racism and homophobia by trying to confront the idiots who ran Fannie Mae and Frddie Mac and was still POTUS when the SHTF.

Even McCain saw the mortgage meltdown coming and tried to implement reforms but he too was villified.

Yeeeeeah.... no.

That was a minor contributor. The MAJOR contributor was the banks were driving it themselves because the stripping of regulations on their derivatives trading had them making a freaking *killing* passing off low quality mortgages as good assets and defrauding investors.

You know, what capitalism let off it's leash always does. Drives people to engage in any behavior the profit motive rewards. And boy were they being rewarded.

And we all know who the party of "regulations are bad" is.

You would be amazed to learn that I actually agree with somewhat you about the big banks. They were happy to make the NINJA loans to earn approval of more mergers. Fanni Mae and Freddie Mac mitigated the risks by effectively guarenteeing the "mortgage backed securities" that they were peddling to smaller banks and individual investers.

The smaller, local banks who held their own loans were far more discerning in vetting their barrowers. They weathered the storm quite well.

Interestingly; it was outrage against bailing out the big banks with the TARP fund that inspired the TEA Party conservative movement. Palin remains the defacto leader and she is not shy about criticizing crony capitalism.

Actually, he did.

Except he didn't.

Someone in the McCain campaign took something wildly out of context and claimed it was about Palin.

But for that to be true, (from memory)"old fish wrapped in newspaper, it's still a stinky fish" would have to be about her too.

So, please tell me, how is Sarah Palin a stinky fish wrapped in newspaper?

It is an old, often used line but given the context seemed to many to be directed at Palin.

...Tfly, what the decaffeinated chicken does lung surgery have to do with fruit ballet?

What next? A comment about alien invasions on a story about a pink rose? Perhaps a disclaimer about the need to feed aardvarks while the link you provide goes to a five-hundred line poem about the color blue? Do you even READ what you link to?

"Your mother was a hamster and your father smelled of elderberries!" Now, start providing coherent summaries and explanations of what you have concluded or I shall taunt you some more!

...sheesh.

It appears that Ginsberg has just taken her final slip on a banana peel. She is in midair, spinning and falling towards that six foot deep, rectangular pit. President Trump standing by with shovel in hand, poised to backfill expeditiously.
