All the hoopla is over about the Kavanaugh election. Let's see, Mrs. Rose has disappeared into obscurity until she writes her book. She received over a $1 million dollars from a gofund me account for a incident with no credible proof from 35 years ago. She chose not to fire charges in Maryland. Testified she was not raped! This was about Money for her, politics, and a little revenge maybe.

This could cost the Demoncrats a solid win in the Mid terms. Everyone with common sense knows this was a travesty for Kavanaugh just to appease a the Radicals on the Extreme Left. This guy went through 6 full background checks and nothing was ever found. The media and Demoncrats should be ashamed in their roles of a modern day witch hunt (Salem Witch Trials) or lynching. To be fair to some of the media, their were some who were openly question why they were challenging this nomination. Notice the paid shills that were protesting have disappeared. That happens when the money dries up.

The hoopla isn't over yet.

She didn't set up the go fund me page. Many women don't report sexual assaults for different reasons, like shame and a legal system that consistently don't believe them. Where you not married to a woman that had been abused? Ask her how most women react to sexual assaults.

Common sense only matters if you can look at everything objectively.

In a sense it's not important if Kavanaugh is guilty or not, I can't form an informed opinion on it since I don't have all the facts but I have an opinion about Kavanaugh, he shouldn't have accepted the position because of all the hoopla because it's bad for the Supreme Court to have a person on it that severely polarizes people and that will make people question if the Supreme Court can be impartial.

Nominating a judge to the SC and then ramming the appointment through because of political expediency is not how you do it since that is another thing that polarizes people.

Claiming that your party of choice is white as driven snow while demonizing your political opponents also polarizes people.

End the end, this mess will drag on in one way or another until the parties actually reconciliates and work for the people and not for their own selfish interest.

Kavenaugh was not so controversial based on his performance as a Federal Judge. His decisions were upheld when appealed. His confirmation was assured until the sex charges were publicized.

The US system is NOT to appoint and confirm only centrist SCOTUS judges. The US system is to allow the Senate confirmation Presidential nominations so as to allow successive Presidents to select judges that represent and support their judicial philosophy within political limits. The SCOTUS judges then act as checks and balances on each other.

Kavenaugh was not so controversial until Feinstein publicized the rape allegations at the eleventh hour to maximize political impact rather than forward the charges to the FBI in a timely manner to enable proper, confidential investigation. Is it really possible for you to be to stupid to understand the devisive political grandstanding? It is not Kavenaugh's nomination and confirmation that damages America's institutions but the tactics that were employed against him.

It wasn't the accusations that showed Kavanaugh as unfit to be a Supreme Court judge, or a judge at all, it was his response to it. His behaviour. The fact that his immediate response was to attack his acusers and lie.
Those aspects of his personality, once revealed, are disqualifying.

A judges response should never be to obstruct justice in any way, yet that is what Kavanaugh attempted to do.

And it could all have been neutered by Kavanaugh withdrawing and Trump could have nominated someone else. That would have made them look reasonable and gained a ton of good will, instead they doubled down.

And grandstanding seems to be the great american pastime no matter the party affiliation.

Are you to stupid to understand that it was the Democrat's intention to force Trump to withdraw the Kavenaugh nomination at the end of summer so that confirmation of a new SCOTUS nominee could be delayed until after the election? Aside from delaying having a full panel on the Supreme Court for months this tactic would enable the delay of confirmation until the Democrats possibly regained control of the Senate. Having to gain confirmation from a Democrat Senate would have compelled Trump to nominate a more liberal justice.

As I have posted earlier, the timiming of publication of the allegations as much as the publication of questionable allegations exposes the fraudulent nature of the allegations.

I still say that having openly admitted partisan judges appointed to support a particular political ideology is a uniquely US approach among first world countries.

Ford is getting paid again! Told you that this would happen. I notice she has not pressed charges in Maryland!

But if he really did nothing wrong, if it was all lies and slander, WHY should he be the one to give in? So the liars will know they can torpedo ANY candidate if they raise a big enough stink?

There's a line in a story I'm writing:

Dita wrote:It was all lies, but if they throw enough shit at you, some of the stink just has to stick.

The left-wingers are famous for that.
