Just saying that Germans sired by American troops will be more easily assimilated to traditional German culture rather than import Islamin culture from the Middle East and Africa.

On a related note, birth rates through most of the muslim worldhave been plummetting during the 21st century. The most notable exceptions have been Iraq and Afghanistan, two countries that have been occupied by AAmerican troops. It will be interesting to see how the societies evolve as a result.

In WW2 Australians used to say there were three problems with the US troops garrisoned here.
They were over paid, over sexed, and over here.

The same saying was used in the UK too.

If the British had listened to Churchill in to 20's we would not have had ww2 most likely. Alas, the British Empire had to call the Americans to bail them out.

I believe that it was the Japanese who did the calling?

Technically you are correct but who came over to bail out the Australians from being invaded!

Yep. It was the Japanese who so foolishly provoked America to fight "Roosevelt's War." Up until the attack on Pearl Harbor, most Americans wanted to remain isolationist. The smarter isolationists wanted to rearm, but the sentiment to remain neutral was very broad based. Most Americans were content to watch and eat popcorn as Hitler, Stalin and Tojo had their way with you little darlings.

That history should be a lesson to foreigners that come onto this forum to bash the United States because we have been the Global Cop for the last 70+ years. We are tired of expending American blood and treasure to secure oil supplies for Europe and Japan as well as China and India. The idiocies of overthrowing Daffy Gaddaffy so that France and Great Britain could have Libya's oil rather than china has done far more to destabilise the Middle East than the Iraq war. Inciting a coup in Ukraine so that the EU could expand was insanity that needlessly provoked Russia.

The Democrats might support NATO right now but watch them run away when the risk of a real war develops.

You foreigners better make contingency plans for being on your own.

Who knows what would have happened without Pearl Harbour? Historians now agree that Japan didn't have the capacity to invade and occupy Australia regardless of US involvement. Hitler was blocked by the English Channel, the British navy and the RAF from invading. It is possible that without US involvement the Soviets and NAZIs may have destroyed Europe in their death struggles.

The american conservative belief that the rest of the world should just shut up and be thankful to America for all eternity (and tolerate all the bullshit american politicians and companies are doing) because your fathers, grandfathers and/or great-grandfathers defeated the axis powers in WW2 is baffling to me.

The sheer entitlement of it all, it's just so hypocritical.
