1: What? What does that even mean? Why is it important? Does it even matter to those of us who live outside "Da Gubmint Can Tek Ma Gunn Outta Ma Ded Hands"... I mean America?
2: Shouldn't this be in the Political Forum? ~~~~~~

Congrats to him for coming in second behind the democrat candidate? Like, you may have had a point if he had beaten out a Democrat for the top spot, but that's not what happened, is it? Why are you so blatantly dishonest in your reporting, Nimitz? Or is the suppression of facts that aren't convenient for your little safe space an ingrained reflex for you? |

It's not (that) dishonest.
Califirnia, iirc, is weird in that it could have filled both spots with Dems, or Repubs. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I do not even know where to start Why is it important 1. Because these are the people that take money from your weekly paycheck and decide which of thier friends they are going to give it to. 2. I did not know free range excluded election results Nimitz |

No they don't. And not only because my paycheck is monthly. Nimitz, I'm a Brit. You know, from the United Kingdom. A country that has cottages older than the States as a political entity and once ruled so much of the globe that the mapmakers struggled to find enough red ink to do it in colour. So. For a NON-AMERICAN, why does it matter? On related news, Jeztonbury is looking like it's going to fail since the Unions are having to purchase and give away free tickets. That's more important than someone getting elected (or whatever)... To those of us in the UK, anyway. ~~~~~~

Yet again.
Most government welfare is given out by the GOP to corporations. Though the Dems do a bit as well it's not as much as the GOP. Most government welfare to the actual people goes to Republican voters and Red states. That hand in your paycheck giving money to their friends, belongs to the person you voted for Nimitz. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Since your OP wasn't neutral reporting you should have posted in the Political sub-forum. Your followup comment clearly indicates that it wasn't intended as neutral reporting at all, instead it was posted with the full intention of baiting people who doesn't agree with your political views. DO NOT DO IT outside the politics sub forum. It's as simple as that. That goes for everyone. --- Jack of all trades and destructive tinkerer. Anyone who have simple solutions for complex problems is a fool. |

Yes, I'm sure they're terrified there is a Republican *candidate* for governor in California... who is going to lose. By a lot. Total votes for candidates for governor in the CA primary: Democratic: 2,490,291 (62.1%) Republican: 1,519,067 (37.9%) The Dems must all be wetting themselves over that 24pt advantage they have as we speak! |
