Walk out your door look left-right-up-down is it flat?

Nope, not flat. Might have something to do with living in a river valley
Why should I prove it to you when it's simple to have you prove it to yourself.
Absolute simplest way, though it will take a few years, is to look at the next few lunar eclipse's.
There are 21 that should be visible to you between now and mid 2027.
The earth casts it's shadow on the moon. That's what a lunar eclipse is.
Since the earth spins on it's axis, and the shadow on the moon is a consistant oval from eclipse to eclipse, it proves that not only is the earth not flat, it is in fact spherical. If it was flat the shadow would not be consistant.
Method 2.
Drive to a working port.
Watch a ship sail away, paying attention to how it disapears from view.
You'll notice that the top is the last thing visible. If the earth was flat it would not go out of sight like this.
You can verify this by having people walk away from you on a flat road, and walking away from you over a hill.
Method 3.
Stick a stick in the ground so that it is perfectly verticle and about a meter high. Add some sort of ruler so you can measure the shadow by eye.
Have a fruend on the other side if the country do the same, but live stream it to you.
The shadows are different lengths. If the earth was flat they'd be the same. Well nearly the same. If you did the math the difference in the lines is far more than can be explained by a flat earth.
Method 4.
I want to do this one.
Buy one of these:
https://www.highaltitudescience.com/pro ... -space-kitMount a video camera to it and launch it.
Recover and watch the video. It will fly high enough to show the earths curvature.
Way cool.
That's the $1000.00 dollar method btw.
You'll find a heap of youtube video's of this or similar experiments btw.
