I don't think it's actual lying.
To lie, you have to be aware of the truth that you are attempting to avoid/conceal/evade etc. I think that Trump is just wrong. From his own viewpoint, he knows what he knows and he knows it's all he needs to know. From the viewpoint of a large portion of the world, we end up wondering what reality he's inhabiting, because it sure as heck ain't the one we are in now... Trump ain't a liar, he's just mistaken about what reality is. ~~~~~~

Pelosi says Trump is uninvited to do a State of the Union Address while the Trump's lockout continues. Nancy takes a ride on a government Gulfstream jet to Hawaii for Christmas while Trump's at the White house. So today the Commander in Chief refuses to allow Nancy to fly to Egypt, Afghanistan, and Brussels while the lockout is in affect. So to continue Negotiating Trump pulls Nancy's ability to fly on government jets to keep her in town. Yeah right! Touche! Well paid or well played Counter punch!

If you truely knew anything it would actually be funny. Do you actually know why it was suggested that the SotU be delayed? Because it was suggested that the security and extra staff should actually be paid for being there. (Which is a slight stunt as I believe by law they will be backpaid) Do you know why Trump was in the White House over xmas? They couldn't pay the extra staff needed for him to go away on vacation. I believe not even under the previously passed budget, which Trump has blown to smitherines by his huge number of holidays. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Oh, and he didn't exactly refuse her. He aparently released her entire ittinery, including the stuff that doesn't get released.
He aparently compromised her security with his 3yr olds tantrum. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

RoFL at your reply! Why? Your good friend invited Trump January 2, 2019. Just informing you, she invited him during the lockout! Sorry to shoot down your forum post but that really had nothing to do with the truth. The truth is that she and Trump are both being petulant. Nancy has locked herself into box and is unable to get out of the box because Trump is NOT playing by the normal playbook. Question what's happening behind the curtain why we watch this farce of a lock out play out.

With the expectation the shutdown would be resolved well in advance of the SOTU. As it became clearer that would not happen she told him that IF IT WAS STILL NOT RESOLVED the address would need to be rescheduled as the security services responsible for the event are unfunded. The DOD on the other hand is NOT unfunded and there was zero reason to cancel a congressional delegation to meet NATO commanders and US troops in Afghanistan except juvenile tantrum throwing. |

That's funny that you believe the propaganda coming from Nancy Pelosi. The real truth is that the issue does not matter but this fight is between an Alpha Male and Alpha Female. Neither will back down and both are acting petulant! Nancy is claiming Trump endangered her life...what a joke. The funny fact is she had to fly Commercial to Cali because she and all other Congressmen are banned from military flights until after the shutdown. Another note: Trump had luggage delivered to her office! The Cherry on top was that Melania took a military jet Mar-a-Lago after this mess. Trump just can not help himself but loves to twist the knife. A bit of advice for Nancy, Trump's got a bigger hammer than you do. Be wary!

If Trump had any brains he'd have welcomed the opportunity to get Pelosi out of town for a few days - it could only help is so far futile attempts to peel off more moderate Democrats.
So basically you're saying Trump triumphed by preventing the Speaker of Congress from flying to perform official state business and instead used military aircraft as a personal taxi service for his wife? Are you even listening to yourself? |

It's not business with the Government shut down! Nancy should be Washington at the Table with Trump to iron out their differences or is this just about stopping Trump!
