With luck, the results will be definitive enough that the Republicans won't want to pay for the lawyers. No point in going to court if the best they can do is lose by fewer votes.

Legally maybe not. But for propaganda reason - claiming that "democrats stole votes with their fraudulent post voting!", and rallying radicals to "protect the American democracy" - it would work fine. Visa versa for democrats, of course.

Yep. There are already plans to rally people into the streets if the Republicans manage to stop the counting of votes before they are tabulated in the courts. The ALF/CIO is planning a general strike. So far, however, it appears that the courts are ruling against Republican lawsuits even though a majority of the judges involved have been Republican themselves.

On the bright side, I saw a piece by James Carville, a Democratic operative, who sees Biden cruising to a relatively easy victory and that we'll know by tomorrow night at this time. Sounds a bit pollyannish, but Carville is a canny old fart who probably shouldn't be completely dismissed.

Its incredible, it seems that all the evidence that they had about Hunter Biden just disappeared, as if it never existed at all :o

Yeah, because as we all know it's definitely common practice when a news org gets their hands on damning documentation of wrongdoing by a presidential candidate to not make a single copy or take any pictures or other backup documentation of it in any way and then throw it in the mail where a logistics company they don't want to name for us (so their story can't be checked) magically "loses" all of them.

Let's all keep in mind this is the same Tucker Carlson whose own employer, Fox News, argued in court in sworn testimony would never be taken seriously by any "reasonable person" and thus his false statements against individuals didn't count as slander. And we can all see why the judge actually accepted that argument.

It's interesting that this event coincides with the revelation that the laptops and the material on them where fake.

It would be hilarious if not for the fact that a large percentage of the population swallowed the whole thing, hook, line and sinker without even batting an eye while calling those questioning the validity for fools.

Essentially it demonstrated that peoples voted not for the party they liked, but against one, they hated the most...

Seen on the CNN ticker-tape news summary, in an item on the White House refusing to communicate with the Biden transition team.

The item started out with: “The current tenant of the WH is still…!” It’s the phrase “current tenant” that’s cold! (In small case, yet!)
From President of the United States of America to “current tenant in 24 hours!
That’s someone who is really sticking the needle in.

You have to be careful with historical allusions; more often than not they don’t pan out, then again at other times they are spot on!
Donald J. Trump side by side with Nero! :o
The anecdotal Nero capering about playing his Lyre; while in the background Rome was burning!
The very real B.O.M with a nationwide deadly Pandemic, a government handover and a deeply polarized nation smoldering on his plate; taking time out from doing nothing, to get in several afternoons playing golf!! :?
