The first article is factually inaccurate right from the start.
Hard to take it seriously after a start like that.

Cool. The main statement that put me off was Home Schooling uses no public funding.
That is easily shown to be incorrect in the USA, where admitadly the article is focused.

I know damn well about the public funding here in Oz because we investigated home schooling ourselves.

With a major part of the article appearing to be funding, to actually get the funding information wrong is pretty

To be fair to the author, when they talk of funding they are only thinking of funding directed to the home schooling directly, and yeah in that they're right.
But in ignoring all the indirect funding, variable as it is from state to state or country to country, really screws their point.
