Now that Chavez has died, what is next for Venezuela? My prediction is for a multiway power struggle with significant violence. Possibly a civil war.

a Pointy-Headed Liberal replies:
I predict a Free Election, with a little bit of violence.
The two political groupings will remain much the same.
The Left candidate will win, with a smaller majority
than Chavez had, and will continue Chavez's internal
polices, but with less energy. He will neglect the
friendship with Iran, but will continue friendship
with Cuba for awhile.

Hi Spacekiwi

Yuk yuk !!!

Humour is a very good medicine !!

As far as I'm concerned, no one needs to apologise for humour that does not hurt anyone :)

I wasnt apologizing for the humour, it was for the fact that they were really bad puns. XD

IMHO, the only good puns are really bad, so no need to apologize. :)

Punning is a multi-generational family tradition in my family. When my wife gets tired of them she either tells me to shut up, or she rolls her wheelchair off into another room. :D

That´s probably not too far from what will happen.
And unless whoever takes over has a personal or ideological problem with it or something, the cooperation with Cuba will go on. The healthcare and education support Cuba provides is easily more than worth the oil and cash Venezuela gives for it.

Hi Spacekiwi

My humour consists mostly of really really bad puns too.

Oh well, before my current wife married me more than eight years ago, she KNEW I was a "smart-ass" - - so, now she just puts up with me ;)

(Since this was her first marriage, maybe she didn't realize what she was getting into - - - but now it's too late since she has signed on the dotted line !!!)

Yuk yuk !!
