That's *1* paper, that was pulled because they questioned the quality of the underlying data. There are still plenty of others that say the same thing. And Trump was still basing his own statemetns on no evidence whatsoever and remains full of shit.

This is just science doing it's thing and being rigorous.

That's a single paper which was retracted. And at most, if it's wrong it indicates there's less evidence of hydroxychloroquine causing harm. Not that it provides benefit to COVID patients, and certainly not that it's the miracle drug Trump has been touting it as (but then we already know that).

It's funny how COVID-19 related deaths is directly proportional to the number of infected in conjunction with a functioning health-care system.

I'm sure you can draw some conclusions from that, but anyone who uses CMR to compare how different countries cope with an ongoing pandemic shouldn't offer opinions on how those countries fare because it most likely be wrong.

In South Dakota a study of hydrox was called off because a paper at the U of Mn was published finding that the drug did not improve survivability beyond the effect of a placebo. Sanford Health in Sioux Falls made the decision. Gov Noem volunteer SD for study with a great fanfare.

I don't expect got hear more about this. The governor has been generally supportive of Trump. But she's not an idiot.

The Feds found out about it. The Feds got a "Sneak and Peak" warrant to search the locker and confiscate the contents without informing the bootleggers. Just for fun, they staged it to look like other criminals had broken in to steal a million dollars worth of pot.

The pushers in Texas sent up some thugs to take delivery of the pot. The thugs discovered that the pot was missing. The thugs vigorously interrogated the manager of the Public Storage, at gun point. The thugs even recorded video of the interrogation to convince their bosses that they didn't steal the pot. They then left the manager with his hands and feet duct taped in the locker rather than shoot him in the head as threatened.

Concurrently with the vigorous interrogation by the thugs, the Feds invoked civil forefeiture of three houses that had been used in the marijuana trafficking. Since a storage locker was rented, I presume that the houses were used for growing. The Feds refuse to answer inquiries about who actually owned the houses that they confiscated. The local newspaper has filed a formal freedom of information request.

How much you bet some innocent landlords got triply screwed by the bootleggers conspiring with the State of Oregon, then the Feds?

Typical Gas Lighter...
I searched this and found nothing that links Oregon to Public Storage and pot.

Like your patron saint when you see you are loosing an argument, change the subject.

Thank you.
I must have picked the wrong key words because my search found nothing like this.

Hey... If I had all the answers I would be someone else.

As stated earlier.... Trump remains full of shit on Hydroxychloroquine.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/06/15/politics ... index.html

The Food and Drug Administration has revoked its emergency use authorization for the drugs hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine for the treatment of Covid-19.

Hydroxychloroquine was frequently touted by President Donald Trump, and he has claimed to have used it himself.
After reviewing the current research available on the drugs, the FDA determined that the drugs do not meet "the statutory criteria" for emergency use authorization as they are unlikely to be effective in treating Covid-19 based on the latest scientific evidence, the agency noted on its website on Monday.

"FDA has concluded that, based on this new information and other information discussed in the attached memorandum, it is no longer reasonable to believe that oral formulations of HCQ and CQ may be effective in treating COVID-19, nor is it reasonable to believe that the known and potential benefits of these products outweigh their known and potential risks," FDA chief scientist Denise Hinton wrote in a letter to Gary Disbrow of the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) on Monday. Hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine have been tied to serious cardiac events as well as other side effects among Covid-19 patients.

So to repeat. Trump ran off based on no real evidence and certainly no expertise and started telling people to take a drug that it turns out is both ineffective and dangerous.

Rotator cuff damage can cause that.

I seriously doubt that's the reason with Trump, but it can. After all, if it was he would have had it repaired by now.
