Tfly, do the words "Confirmation Bias" ring any bells?
Given the size of the planetary population, the ubiquity of social media and the fact that half the population are below-average in intelligence (statistically true), you will be able to find any apparent pattern if you look hard enough.
Of course, there is a notable tendency among some people to find patterns where none exist...
