Kind of like you calling people "facist pigs" without even knowing them.

It's quite thought-provoking.

Yes, it is.

It's mostly provoking thoughts like "Man, that's a transparently written propaganda piece", though.

Let's go point by point to see how this thing works.

In the beginning, the author describes himself (I am just going to assume we're dealing with a man here) as someone who is now living the humble life of a delivery or Uber driver after being fired from another job for toxicity.

Now, what's interesting here is that he omits any specifics; The reader is free to assume anything. Without specifics, it is impossible to tell whether this is a true account or just a fabrication (however, having seen a few of these in my time, I am leaning toward fabrication).

He tells us that his transgressions were so severe as to not just be dropped from his job, but his entire career as well.
Now, here's the thing. Stuff like that does happen.... but it most often happens because a) you screwed up so bad that no amount of genuine skill can compensate or b) you did something actually illegal.
I wonder what his crime was.

He tells us that he still holds many of the opinions he held in his previous life.
Would be interesting if he, at any point, told us what those were or are.
Since he doesn't, however, he could be anything. He could even be a Trumpet.

Ah, but then he makes an actual point! He says:
Real change does not stem from these tactics. They only cause division, alienation, and bitterness.

I call this the liberal fallacy. Liberal, because it is funded on the idea that all ideas are valid and can be debated fairly on their merits, and fallacy, because they aren't.
The thing is, sometimes you can argue someone out of an idea. But, flipside of that coin, sometimes you can't; Trump followers, for example, can't be convinced that Trump is a walking disaster area no matter how insane he gets.
Division, alienation and bitterness are regrettable. But sometimes you have to cut someone out.

But after that, he goes into manipulative bullshit.
How did I become that person? It happened because it was exhilarating. Every time I would call someone racist or sexist, I would get a rush.

A naive reader might see this and nod along.
An astute one, however, sees the actual meme being planted: The idea that people who call someone or something out as racist or sexist are getting off on it; that, on some level, these accusations are inherently disingenuous.

Now, the term SJW has a history. It used to be a term leftists used against hangers-on and cheerleaders who tried to gain social cachet by screaming loudly about anything that smelled of injustice.
Then the modern conservative movement got wind of it and applied it broadly to anyone criticizing anything from a lefty perspective.
The author tells us that he was an SJW (modern sense) but he seems to actually have been an SJW in the original sense. An important difference which a reader will be blind to if they haven't been keeping up with internet culture (which neither you, smr, nor you, Michael, seem to have done).

But back to the article. Here's a complete summary of it that recounts every fact mentioned in it:
The author had a decent job at a social justice business that did something.
Something happened.
The author quit or got fired because of the something.
People on social media were mean because of the something.
The author read a book that validated his perceived sense of injustice because of the something.
Now the author sees the real world that is something.

As you can see, there are no facts in it. Just stuff that sounds good to people not accustomed to taking a critical look at things that they agree with.
It's the Candace Owens thing again: Just because someone agrees with you doesn't mean they're right, or even truthful about their agreement with you.

THE PROBLEM:

Health care costs in the US are insane

THE ACTUAL SOLUTION

A universal health care system as established in pretty much all first-rank countries

THE AMERICAN SOLUTION:
This, apparently:
Instead of government-controlled, insurance-dominated healthcare, we need to return to our roots, to what made our country great: the free market. In 2017, the U.S. spent $3.4 trillion on healthcare for 323 million Americans, or $10,526 for every man, woman and child. Imagine if every family of four put $42,105 in an HSA every year! and simply shopped for and paid for their health care. No government stealing our money to pay its bureaucracy. No insurance company delaying or denying care. Just the old but right doctor-patient relationship with no one and nothing in between.

You know, I've often heard it said that communist or socialist solutions are unworkable because of basic economics, but when stuff like the above gets written, I have to wonder if the authors' grasp on basic economics is actually strong enough to make that determination.

I do not need to know you to call you out for what you are. Not what you think yourself to be, but what your behaviour makes you:
You're an apologist for a regime that is marked by actions ranging from the subtly to the overtly authoritarian. You are consistently at the forefront when it comes to spreading the "great lie" du jour, you never question what people feed you. You are a perfect little footsoldier who has chosen to march for a neofascist; you may condemn the outright thugs and open racists you are allied with, but you never seem to question their goals, their methods, or the personalities pushing this bullshit.

So says the man that sees but is blind. By the same logic could be applied to the theE. I am just a little more experienced in the ways of the world. Do not judge a book by the cover. One final thought:

John 13:34-35 New International Version (NIV)

34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

Ah, I see you're trying to copy the trumpian "no, you're the fascist".

Unfortunately, that rhetorical gambit has been bullshit ever since the first 5 year old tried it; If you really want your words to have an effect, you should try leading with some actual evidence, some form of objective truth that forms the basis of your assessment. I can go through your posting history and see a picture all too familiar to those of us who have been studying the radicalization of the modern Conservative movement on the internet: a picture of someone who is caught in an echo chamber of their own making, a self-reinforcing small-world network (pay attention: that's an actual term from the sociological literature about this; I can guarantee that you, smr, will misunderstand it and thus misapply it, should you choose to respond), someone who is utterly powerless against the people and agencies pulling his strings and yet fiercely convinced that there are no strings.

What can you say about me that would be equivalent to that? I can point to instances of you blatantly lying, I can point to your extended history of making claims that can't be backed up, of you switching arguments whenever you've been driven into a corner that the people whose rhetoric you're parroting haven't given you an out for.

Transformers Prime. Season 2, Episode one.
Conversation between Orion Pax (formerly Optimus Prime) and Megatron
Orion: One question, Megatron. Why are we called Decepticons?
Megatron: Another craven Autobot scare tactic. The name was meant to demonize us; instead we wear it as a badge of honor. For if speaking the truth is deception, then we are gladly guilty.

Beware the Appropriated Appellation. Fascists may have been murderous, but they were disciplined and fashionable which is why, now that their murderous actions are fading from the public memory, they seem to be making a comeback.
Heck, the Italian version made the trains run on time.
(No, I'm not supporting them, but I can see how others might...)

smr, your responses make it ever more clear on a daily basis that whatever your biological age may be, you are a child who is wasting the time of everyone who futilely attempts to have any kind of intelligent exchange with you.

Are you ever capable of debating any point on the merits instead of simply retreating to juvenile idiocy?
