I doubt they will pull many young voters. They'll be seen as spoiled brats riding Daddy's gravy train. Also, there has been no sign of any comfortable family relationship so far. They relate to their Dad like junior execs sucking up to the CEO.

I would have said that if any of Trump's kids could swing the voters it would be Ivanka.

Instead it looks like she went after Hillary's positions in a good way.

(As opposed to all the deplorable ways the GOP have done so far)

Haven't seen her full speach yet but from what I did see and hear, she's a hell of a lot more Presidential than anyone who actually tried to run.

Yep. This thread has kinda strayed. A thought just passed my very feeble mind. How many here own and bear their own LEGAL automatic rifle? Gun control is hitting your target.

Full auto is a great way to waste ammunition and hit everything but the target. One of the first things you're taught in the military: full auto is for fixed, dedicated squad automatic rifles, aka machine guns.

Do I hear an echo of discontent or sour grapes from the late great State Of Kommiefornika? Only a non machine gun owner and shooter would default to the notion that ALL machine gun use is wasteful, non accurate, non desirable or non politically correct.

Gun control is hitting your target every time. Machine gun ownership means hitting your target every time with a controlled 3 to 5 round burst of ... MACHINE GUN FIRE. A great force multiplier. Responsible machine gun ownership is beneficial.

All Oregon State Laws, US Code Laws And NFA Rules Apply. This means that up here in SW OR USA, responsible machine gun ownership is still allowed and very legal by the powers that be. Your local, regional, state and national gun laws may vary.

Respectfully.

Kinda ruins the venison, though.

The Second Amendment Of The United States Constitution is NOT about ruining the venison. Sadly and seriously, it IS about ruining any nasty enemy, be that private, corporate, foreign or domestic, INCLUDING giving pause to our own out of control government. That is the reason for the Second Amendment. Hunting does not enter into it. Kinda scary isn't it? Respectfully.

Fully agree. Our Steyr AUGs have a default semiauto trigger function that you can override to auto if you have a human wave charge coming at you, but we were trained to just use semiauto and aimed individual shots, up to triple tap.
In what circumstance a domestic civillian would use full auto is beyond me.
My memory tells me from 50 years ago that the British Bren was the only gun to stay on target when used on full auto, due to a symetrical action.

:(

Full auto is either Oh Shit, or area denial.
Or Yippee shooting :)

At least at an infantry level.

Honestly, I'm not sure of the legality of any automatic rifle down here.
(Semi's limited to occupational needs by the looks)

Fully is definately out.
