Hi,
The duration of downtime can vary depending on the specific forum and the reason for the outage. If you have a specific forum in mind, I would recommend checking its official website or social media channels for updates on the downtime and any information regarding how many days were lost.

I believe that is the concept behind the "Free Range Topics" forum

Should strike-through work? See this: [s]strike-through[/s]

KZT tried it in the "Shutting down the MWJ" thread and got this strange result. I had to look up BBCodes to see what he was trying to do and I thought that I had seen things struck though before.

Starting about page 30 in the Free-Range Topics... Forum, trying to look at a thread gives the following response:
The requested topic does not exist

If the content is really gone, then could those threads be removed?

I'll just note that some browsers have problems accessing the site because it mixes http and https.

Most browsers these days enforce https-only mode and refuses to load resources from http when the main page is loaded through https.

Whenever I sign into the Forum, my browser says that it is not secure; so I do not think that has anything to do with the missing contents in the Free-Range Topics....

But is there any glimpse of an answer? Was there a restore from an incomplete backup?

Could you let us know what happened? Is the forum software up to date? I note that phpBB Group is announcing end of support for 3.2.x and has 3.3.11 available, but I do not know what version we are using.

Losing posts from an almost 60 hour window could have been traumatic for members and administrators.

I guess there is no possible fix for the oldest entries in the Free-Range Topic forum; but I still think that if thread data cannot be restored there, then the empty headings could be deleted as useless.
