It does indeed.
Only three fatalities (and five injured), compared to the dozen-plus dead that would have occurred in a similar shooting in America.

Also, if you scroll to the end of the article, you will see that gun deaths in Utecht are rare, whereas in America, it's so common it doesn't even make the news unless a dozen people or more are killed.

How do gun control laws limit the number of fatalities in a mass shooting? I have read that the gunman used a "big pistol." May be something like an HKMP-5. Did gun control laws prevent him from reloading?

In spite of your use of big words, you remain an ignorant, hate mongering bigot. Mass shootings are not an everyday occurance in the USA. It is far more common for multiple assailants to kill a single victim.

Mass sootings are rare in Europe because people willing to commit them are rare. This most recent case illustrates that if someone wants to commit a mass shooting, they can get a gun even in your gun free paradise.

Oh excuse me... there have been 76 days so far this year and only 58 mass shootings (4 or more victims) in the US so far.
