That isn't completely fair. They have in fact released a few genuinely good products over the years.

You just have to ignore the fact that all of those products were actually developed elsewhere and then either purchased or outright stolen by MS....

Mostly outright stolen and paid for by judicial order. MSDOS 1.0 Was patheic so i stead of rewriting the problem areas, they added patches and work arounds. and never fixed anything. Then stole the handy apps others developed to help users make DOS functional.

Most of those developers got buried in motions and filings when they tried to sue MS.

I would say every - recent - thing from MS, I love Excel but they keep coming out with new crap that for some stupid reason cant understand stuff I wrote on my old computer. What, they forgot the old stuff was their? & W-7+ no 'start' bars, can't move things around in the folder? The new 'programmers' too stupid to figure out how to do stuff the old programmers had in the last millennium?

"Organic Wood"!!! Idiot yuppies are taking the 'Organic' crap way too far. like I need to buy wood in a deli. I guess all the other wood outside the deli is inorganic, taken from the petrified forest I presume. It's true, morons will buy anything.

Rocks - wrapped in leather $85- Nordstroms. My wife paints them and only gets $20 + shipping for ours. I guess pet rocks is a real thing?

The difficulty in understanding has shifted from getting enough information to that of sorting through what exists. A theory can help, if correct, or mislead if not.

Rob Stadler, in "The Scientific Approach to Evolution." provides one useful tool I hadn't read about before

Not really a dumb invention but a piece of stuck-on-stupid that has pissed me off for years.

Take a bottle of Goo-Gone, the best glue remover in the known universe, and observe that the cap has a little cardboard disk glued into it!

I'm surprised they don't have an endorsement from Sigmund Freud.
