Stereotypical, and wrong (for those that think you Ingerlanders actually talk that way). I spent three years there and never heard any Brit talk that way. Lived in a little town called Burwell, about halfway between RAF Lakenheath/RAF Mildenhall and Cambridge. My only regret was that I was too poor to really get to travel around the country, not to mention, not ever getting the chance to visit Ireland (I have one of those O-apostrophe last names).

One of the 3 C's, perhaps? Columbus, myself (cowtown central, except we only see cows here during the State Fair). Born and raised here, and with the exception of the aforementioned 3 years in England, and 3.5 years in New Mexico, have lived here all my life.

Originally from the mountains of Colorado in the USA, spent much of my youth in Texas. Visited or lived in about 35 of the 50 states. Lived, worked, and Volksmarsched in the Stuttgart area of Germany for about 3 years. Brief visits to Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, and France.

Grew up in a suburb of Columbus, interned in Cleveland, now hanging around Dayton (so close to Cinnci). So in short, all 3 =)

Been to visit Maine and LA, pretty good contrast between different parts of the US.
